JFK conspiracy theories are the only official establishment and government-sanctioned conspiracy theories.
An establishment conspiracy theory is a contradiction in terms. When liberal publishers and movie directors rush to put out materials promoting a conspiracy theory, it’s not only not challenging or exposing anything, it is a cover-up.
And we know what the JFK cover-up was about from Day 1.
At the height of the Cold War, an American Communist who had defected to the USSR, tried to defect to Cuba, who had previously tried to assassinate other patriots, murdered the president of the United States.
He did it in the name of his leftist politics.
That simple fact could not be allowed to stand. It would have moved the U.S. toward an unthinkable military confrontation with the USSR. It would have also led to public demand for a crackdown on the Left.
And so the actual facts had to be suppressed. They were suppressed with conspiracy theories. Oswald had to die in a way that would raise questions. The story had to be tangled in more questions. All of this was not done to get to the truth, but to obscure it.
After the latest JFK dumpster dive, there’s once again nothing there. And there never will be.
There’s no cover-up to be unearthed except the conspiracy theories themselves. Much like the UFO panic, the government and its political allies helped manufacture conspiracy theories to cover up what happened.
And what happened is that the Left got away with one of the worst crimes in American history. Again.
