“While everything mentioned is true, what leftists seldom understand is that when the price gets too high, people move. When businesses no longer offer health insurance because the premiums are outrageous, people will discover the real cost of stupid legislation. When even high-deductible insurance is unaffordable, residents have to choose to stay or leave. The auto insurance premiums are already four times what people in other states pay. “Sadly, Colorado has become California 2.0. It is now a deep-blue state. It didn’t used to be that way. I lived there in the mid-‘70s and was stationed there with the U.S. Army in the late ’80s. I started writing a satire of Minnesota’s ‘Protecting Reproductive Options’ Act, which removed all rules on abortion clinics. ‘Protecting Political Options’ would likewise declare political assassination a ‘fundamental right’ and go from there.
