D.C.’s answer to the Berlin Wall, the hideous yellow giant letters scrawled on the street in celebration of the time that the racist BLM movement invaded the city, tried to set a church on fire and assaulted the White House… is no matter.
Black Lives Matter Plaza is being dismantled by the city after a push by House Republicans and the Trump administration to end the sham of D.C. ‘home rule’ which allowed the city to be taken over by carjackers and violent criminals.
Local black nationalist activists put on a show of outrage over the removal of the yellow hate slogan on the street (once upon a time even driving too hard over one of these ‘murals’ was considered a hate crime) but the reaction to it shows just how little cultural power the hate group now has.
The BLM movement was astroturfed. The outrage over George Floyd’s drug overdose death was a social and moral panic created with the aim of destabilizing and radicalizing the country. It stopped working a while back and now the people whose lives were destroyed over it have been proven to be in the right all along.
The ‘mural’ issue in D.C. isn’t over just yet. New, presumably actual, murals will replace it and expect them to be filled with radical messaging as well. The Left is good at regrouping in the face of setbacks.
And this isn’t over yet.
