More than 100 people were detained at a Colorado nightclub overnight on Sunday, with authorities saying they were illegal immigrants.
Agents with the DEA, among other agencies, performed a drug raid on what they described as an underground nightclub in a Colorado Springs strip mall. Several active-duty military members were also at the club during the raid, with some alleged to have been involved in the operation.
“What was happening inside was significant drug trafficking, prostitution, crimes of violence,” DEA Rocky Mountain Division Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen said at a news conference Sunday morning. “We seized a number of guns in there. We had active-duty service members who were running security at the club and involved in some of these crimes. And in fact, we had over 100 illegal aliens inside as well.”
“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists. Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized. 2 people were also arrested on existing warrants,” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on social media.
The Justice Department did not respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment.
More than 300 federal law enforcement officers across ten federal agencies executed the drug investigation and operation at the club.
The raid was the result of a monthslong operation from the DEA. Pullen said that during the investigation, law enforcement saw members of Tren de Argua, MS-13, and Hells Angels all attending the club before they executed the raid.

“I don’t have the information about whether those members were there tonight, but we’re still working through a lot of that, because we have so many people in custody,” Pullen said.
Those believed to be in the United States illegally were taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while the Army Criminal Investigation Division is working with the DEA to determine the next steps for the active duty members allegedly involved in the operation.
